We are pleased to announce the establishment of a think tank dedicated to the discussion and exploration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices and their alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). This think tank will serve as a key platform for Czech and Ukrainian scholars and researchers to exchange ideas, share insights, and collaborate on how HEIs can contribute to a more sustainable, equitable, and well-governed future.
A significant part of this initiative includes the discussion of a forthcoming monograph that delves into the implementation and impact of ESG practices in universities. This monograph aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of how HEIs can integrate ESG principles to enhance their contributions to the SDGs.
Representatives from Mendel University in Brno, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostohradskyi National University, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Alfred Nobel University, Lutsk National Technical University, Polissia National University, Central Ukrainian National Technical University, and the Educational and Rehabilitation Institution of Higher Education “Kamianets-Podilskyi State Institute” participated in this meeting.
In addition, the think tank will also focus on diversity management in academic settings. The platform will explore challenges, opportunities, and strategies for better integrating diversity management into university practices. It will also serve as a forum for sharing experiences, success stories, and best practices, fostering stronger connections and collaboration between Czech and Ukrainian educational institutions.
