Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, as a leading academic and educational institution in Ukraine, has a rich tradition and a strong focus on research from 1834. The university boasts a highly accomplished faculty, with numerous academic achievements and accolades, including State Prizes of Ukraine, awards from national academies of sciences, and recognition from the President of Ukraine. It offers a wide range of educational programs, including junior specialist, bachelor’s, specialist, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The university provides training and retraining programs in various fields and has a student body of over 26,000 students.


There are 13 Faculties within the University: Geography, Economics, History, Cybernetics, Mathematics and Mechanics, Sociology, Information Technology, Radio Physics, Electronics and Computer Systems, Psychology, Physics, Philosophy, Chemistry, Law. There are 8 Institutes (the Military Academy, the High Technology Centre, the Institute of Journalism, the Institute of Geology, the Institute of International Relations, the Postgraduate Education Centre, the Institute of Linguistics, and the State Security Department) and 1 Training and Research Center (the Institute of Biology), 2 Colleges (Optical and Mechanical College, Geological Exploring College), Ukrainian Physical and Mathematical Lyceum. Kyiv University has a number of other facilities, including: a Ukrainian Studies Centre, a Geological and Zoological Museum, a Museum of the University History, an Interfaculty Museum of Linguistics, an Informatics Centre, an Astronomical Observatory, a publishing and reprographics unit called “Kyiv University”, and the Maksymovych Academic Library.


The university is internationally engaged, with partnerships and collaborations with over 227 educational and scientific institutions in 57 countries. It welcomes foreign academics, lecturers, and students for research collaboration and academic exchanges. The university has actively recruited international students.

Chernihiv Polytechnic National University was established in 1960 as a classic higher education institution. It is the only multi-disciplinary educational and research center in the Chernihiv region, offering a system of continuous education:

The NGO “Professional Network of Research and HE Managers in Ukraine” (PNRM) is a non-profit organization. Its main objective is to implement innovative approaches for the development of education, science, technology, and innovation in Ukraine at both national and regional levels. The organization was established in 2022 and currently has around 40 managers from higher educational institutions representing various regions of Ukraine as members.


PNRM focuses on several key areas of activity. Firstly, it aims to establish relationships and collaborate with international organizations, foreign non-governmental organizations, and international governmental organizations involved in the fields of education, science, technology, and innovation. Secondly, it disseminates information about international processes, the actions of Ukrainian executive authorities, and Ukraine’s fulfillment of international obligations in these areas. The organization also aims to foster dialogue between professional expert communities in Ukraine and different countries within the educational, scientific, technological, and innovative spheres.


Furthermore, PNRM works towards improving public awareness of educational, scientific, technological, and innovative issues, as well as enhancing civil society’s understanding of the outcomes of state and international policies in these domains. The organization contributes to the development of innovative infrastructure and promotes the dissemination of scientific, technological, and innovative achievements in Ukraine.


PNRM plays a vital role in creating a professional network of managers in education and science, facilitating collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the advancement of innovative practices in Ukraine.
